Even More Terrible Limericks

Did you hear about Reverend Bill

And the legacy left in his will?

Though he had not a bean

He left kidney and spleen

To his otter who’d just taken ill

I got lost on my way to the ball

When a wolf ran off with my shawl

While I started to shiver

He, down by the river,

Cried “damn! It’s two sizes too small!”

I think I just swallowed a fly

I choked on his waistcoat and tie

I gurgled and spat

And out came a cravat

Which his tailor resold on the sly
