Grief

They say that grief becomes

small in retrospect.

I believe this is not the case—

not always, at least.

Some days,

it grows into the size of a

mountain.

Other days, it shrinks to the size

of a pea.

But one thing that time

gives you

is the strength

to carry both peas and

mountains

in the very same heart.
